Megan Brown · Boston

Builder-minded senior PM.

I’ve shipped Windows features to a billion+ people, launched products from 0 to 1 that booked over $1M, and right now I’m building Cachette solo, with AI, end to end.

GlossGenius Packages · Senior PM · 0→1

A new way for salon and spa pros to sell up front

GlossGenius helps beauty and wellness pros run their businesses. I took Packages from zero to one, the pricing, the checkout, the whole flow that let pros bundle their services and sell them in advance. In its first three months it resulted over a million dollars of customer revenue.

Microsoft Azure Quantum · Senior PM · DevX

Re-imagining the Azure Quantum development experience

Delivered a complete revamp of how researchers and hobbyists get started with Azure Quantum. Led the team through a full redesign of the onboarding flow, and collaborated with developers on a new set of tutorials and sample code using Azure Notebooks that made it easier to get started with quantum computing on Azure.

Rebuilding scheduling as one AI-ready platform

Building a unified scheduling engine that serves as the reliable foundation an AI receptionist needs to manage patient appointments. Along the way, I shipped self-serve booking from a waitlist text, improved the appointment lifecycle, and revamped how customers manage availability.

The texting problem quietly costing a fortune

Clients weren’t reliably getting their appointment texts, and it was costing around a million dollars a year. I led the cross-team fix that lifted delivery and cut the bill.

Clipboard history, built into Windows

I owned the platform layer of Cloud Clipboard, working with engineering on the API layers behind cloud clipboard and clipboard history, and partnering with the Windows Shell and SwiftKey teams on the parts people actually see. It ships to over a billion of them.

02 · Building With AI

I build as I think.

Prototyping isn’t just how I explain an idea, it’s how I develop one. I’ll build a rough version to figure out whether the thing even makes sense. Sometimes it dies right there, and that’s just as useful, I found the dead end in an afternoon instead of a quarter. More often it’s iterative, and it pushes me past tidy user stories into what I actually want people to feel when they use it.

It’s early discovery and alignment, not taking over design. Sometimes that means collaborating with design to put a working prototype in front of real customers, so we learn what lands before building it for real.

how I create clarity faster than a doc can

A few things I’ve built this way

  • A “visiontype”, a working prototype of where outbound scheduling could go, that I used to get execs aligned on a long-term direction.
  • Concept prototypes for real feature work, like availability setup and onboarding.
  • Cachette, and this site, end to end.

Mostly Claude Code and Codex. v0 and Figma Make when I want something fast and visual. (Replit, Bolt, Lovable, Cortex, Gemini when they fit.)

AI lets me follow my curiosity and build as I do my thinking.

Cachette

The social layer online shopping never had.

Shopping online is weirdly lonely. Cachette is a living view of what the people you care about are thinking of buying, that group-chat-screenshot-of-a-cart energy turned into a product. I’m building and shipping it myself, end to end.

04 · About

A decade of product, still hands-on.

A decade in product, from Windows at Microsoft to 0→1 work at startups. I started in computer science and picked up an MBA along the way, which is a long way of saying I think in systems and in customers at the same time.

I earn engineering’s trust because I can actually get on their level, and I’d rather cut to the real problem than sit through the meeting about it.

I’m based in Boston, building things I wish existed. Curiosity, adventure, humor.
